Blue Crowned Conures are one of the larger sized conures, though still a small bird. While not as flashy as some of the other members of the family, this bird is still lovely to look at with a green body, blue head, and whitish eye ring. They are often described as the "best talkers" of the conure family, but that's not saying much. They were portrayed in the movie Paulie as being an exceptional chatterbox, which is not the case. They will, however, generally have a larger vocabulary than the other conures. This parrot is not an ideal apartment pet; the conure family is known for its loud calls.
