The Buffon's Macaw is a very rare, endangered parrot. It is in very real danger of being wiped out completely. This parrot is often confused with the Military Macaw, but it is a larger bird with more of a yellow tinge. Like all macaws, the Buffon's can be very loud and needs a lot of room. They are highly intelligent and curious, and daily handling is a must. They need plenty of wood and leather toys to chew on. Foraging toys will help keep a Buffon's busy and occupied when you aren't home.
