Eastern Rosella < Feathered Frenzy

If any species of parrot was the sole owner of the word gorgeous, it would be the Eastern Rosella. This beautiful Australian Parakeet is a rainbow of vivid red, bright yellow, blue, green, and white. These birds are generally kept as aviary birds, but having slowly been increasing as a pet bird. They are not for beginners. This bird is relatively difficult to keep tame; a lot of daily handling goes into it. Rosellas are known for aggression towards each other and to other birds, so it is advisable to have one per cage, and each cage nowhere in chewing distance of the other. Their cage must be extremely large, these are very active birds that need plenty of flying space.
