Fischer's lovebirds are a more exotic type of lovie than the traditional peachface you see at many pet stores. They come in a variety of colors such as normal, dilute, blue, even albino, though it is hard to come across most mutations. However, even the "wild" coloration is quite striking - a bright red beak, white ring around the eye, reddish orange forehead, green body, and some blue feathers on the wings. This is truly a beautiful bird and does quite well as an aviary specimen. Like other lovebirds, they can be loud.
