Too many parrots are purchased on impulse, and too many are given up to rescues once people realized what they had gotten themselves into. Sadly, many of these gorgeous animals develop erratic behaviors such as incessant screaming, plucking, and biting from the ignorance of their new owner. It takes time to correct these problems, and some birds are never the same again. Bird rescues are overrun with these guys! All because someone had to have that pretty bird that says hello ten million times a day.
