Conures are for life. When you take a bird into your home, you are agreeing to care for that bird as long as it lives. Which can be quite a while. Which is where the entire problem starts.
Impulse buying birds is a serious problem that needs to end. People don't know what they are getting into, so they dump the bird into a rescue or shelter (hopefully).
Our "Conuresare for LIFE" products are intended to make people stop and think. "What's that mean?" "How long do conures live?" "Wow, really? That's a huge commitment." Because it IS a huge commitment that needs to be thought out carefully, especially considering the long lifespan!
