Yellow Shouldered Amazon < Feathered Frenzy

Yellow Shouldered Amazons, also known as the Yellow Winged Amazon, are beautiful parrots with a green body and bright yellow on the head. They also have a patch of yellow on their shoulders, hence the name. This is a smaller amazon, generally a little under 300 grams. They are still capable of being quite loud like other amazons! Their talking ability is very good, but of course that will vary from individual to individual. Yellow Shouldered Amazons need a large birdcage with plenty of toys to explore. If the bird is to spend most of the day in its cage, you will need to buy an even bigger cage with a lot of foraging toys. This bird is threatened in the wild.
